It is Dhruvi's 12th birthday today. The day started off with Dhruv waking up rather early even before the sun made its appearance! Apparently he could not sleep and ended up playing the Happy Birthday song all by himself on his old casio keyboard.
I slowly woke up. Presented him with a T-shirt. He was like ,"Nobody even gave me a card!" I let that pass. La got up soon. And then stealthily went down to the car and got the gift I bought him last night - a brand new YAMAHA PSR 303 keyboard. While La busied himself with the kids, I set up the keyboard in mom's bed room with help from Rahul.
The kids then came down and I took Dhruv to mom's room and showed him the keyboard. He was ecstatic! Lots of hugs and kisses came my way! Udli was like "where is my gift?"
Dhruv played beautifully on the new keyboard. Lets see if I can get him to go for the classes.
All his friends have come in now. My home is rocked with sounds and shouts! So much fun!
